Bolsena Jacquard Coverlet by Dea Linens
The Bolsena Collection uses an unusual, modern fabric whose distinctive element is its unique double-faced quality. This lovely fabric is 40% cotton sateen and 60% yarndyed linen, the exclusive result of a high-quality Italian production chain. With its different yarns and colors, the warp and weft play off each other, generating an intriguing fabric that presents cotton sateen on one side and linen on the other. It creates an effect that is surprising for the texture of the material yet is also soft and shiny. Linen & Cotton Cotton sateen fabric has a weft with a higher number of threads on the right side than on the reverse. This type of weaving gives an unusual shine as well as making it incredibly soft. Linen is an ancient textile fiber particularly resistant with thermoregulatory characteristics (warm in winter and cool in summer). Combined with cotton, the fabric becomes exceptionally lightweight, with a soft, delicate hand as well as easy to wash and iron. Linen is a hypoallergenic and antibacterial fabric whose cultivation is environmentally friendly as it requires very little irrigation and few pesticides.
